# Belt Install and Rotate Device
The Gates Belt Installation + Rotation Device (BIRDTM) reduces finger and hand injuries during the installation or routine maintenance of a belt drive, by limiting the exposure of hands getting caught in pinch points. While a drive is shut down and locked out, the BIRD safely facilitates a rotational inspection of the drive.
– Reduce the potential for operator hands and fingers being caught in pinch points.
– Aluminum handles allow for safe drive rotation.
– On/Off switches activate the magnets.
